Bishop-Elect Dukes was saved at an early age and received his foundational training at the Love of Christ Church, under the leadership of Bishop Carver E. Poindexter and Co-Pastor Lorene Poindexter, the parents of Pastor Deborah. With over 30 years of sacrificial and dedicated service to the Lord, Bishop-Elect Dukes is a visionary with a tenacious drive to push “God’s Agenda.”
Bishop-Elect Lyle Dukes is anointed to teach and preach the Word of God with simplicity and his speaking engagements take him across the country and abroad. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia as well as a Masters of Divinity Degree from Faith Bible College and Seminary. Bishop-Elect Dukes has also served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army.
“Impacting and life changing” describes the ministry of Bishop-Elect Dukes and the Harvest Life Changers Church. It includes an international television program, world missions outreach, national conferences and events, community self-improvement courses, economic empowerment courses and numerous community service projects (prison and social services outreach). The ministry also includes Christian bookstores, a record label (The Sound of Harvest) and a publishing company (Harvest Word Publishing). He is invited to the White House on many occasions to meet with the President, Cabinet members and members of Congress, providing insight on issues affecting our communities today.
Along with his wife, Bishop-Elect Dukes is the executive producer of the Harvest Life Changers Church Mass Choir CDs, Pastor Deborah Dukes’ solo project and the Lyle and Deborah Dukes Ministries CDs, The Heart of Worship Instrumental Spiritual Hymns and Scriptures for Empowerment. These projects have yielded the Top 20 CDs, Through the Eyes of God and In His Presence. He and Pastor Deborah have served as members of the Pastor’s Advisory Board for Gospel Today Magazine. He and Pastor Deborah have been selected as national spokespersons and ambassadors for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Power To End Stroke campaign.
Bishop-Elect Dukes is the author of several books and articles including The Prophecy Over Your Life, The Open Door Policy, Possessing The Kingdom Anointing, The Ministry In You, Let Us Pray, Give It To Me Straight and Three Steps In Defeating Temptation and the co-author of In The Inner Courts With God for Men, In The Inner Courts With God for Women and The What Works The Best Principle.
A highly successful businessman and entrepreneur, Bishop-Elect Dukes is the owner of Mainstream Concepts, Inc., a media marketing company.
